Your Challenge
- Support front office staff in relation to credit matters, provide guidance on product and policy considerations together with credit structuring advice
- Provide a written analysis of credit applications and recommendation to the competent approval authority, in accordance with the credit governance framework, and coordinate the entire credit approval process
- Manage the implementation of approved credit facilities, prepare loan and collateral documentation and coordinate the proper implementation of credit-related decisions and conditions
- Perform credit monitoring and control activities, including daily monitoring and follow-up of credit violations, as well as credit reporting to local management and other stakeholders
- Assist and support other departments (e.g. Finance, Legal, Compliance) on all credit-related issues, and contribute to credit-related projects, process improvement, system testing, product and policy development etc. as required.
Your Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the described area of responsibility, with very strong organisational and analytical skills, especially in credit risk analysis
- Confirmed credit product knowledge, in particular in the mortgage financing process and with strong experience of Spanish mortgage lending
- You have fluent language skills in English. German and other languages considered as an advantage
- You have a client-oriented mindset and strive to deliver excellent client service on the highest professional level, with excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact successfully with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in the MS-Office package, with experience of the Avaloq banking software an advantage.
