As Internal Audit, we audit and advise VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA and VP Fund Solutions (Luxembourg) SA. Our field of activity is very broad, diverse, and varied as we deal with many aspects of VP Bank Group. We are looking for a new member to join our team in Luxembourg so that we can carry out our mission as Internal Audit in a dynamic and exciting environment with a high level of quality.
Your Challenge
- You plan and execute audits including reporting (independently, in cooperation with the Chief Internal Auditor in Luxembourg and/or Group Internal Audit in Liechtenstein)
- You will work independently and reliably on topics within your area of responsibility, such as conducting risk assessments, audit planning and audit execution.
- You are in regular contact with employees and management at VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA and VP Fund Solutions (Luxembourg) SA to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- You participate in group audits to cover group wide topics relevant for Luxembourg.
- You support the Chief Internal Auditor in the timely execution of the audit plan.
- You perform follow-up procedures on remediation measures taken by the management to address audit finding.
- You assess processes and controls in all areas of the Bank and the Fund Management Company on the basis of internal, external and supervisory standards.
- You interact with other business lines within VP Bank Group.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degrees in business studies / finance or related disciplines.
- 5 years as an internal/external auditor in the bank and funds industry.
- You work independently and place great value on objectivity, integrity, and adherence to ethical standards.
- You have strong analytical skills, autonomy, pro-activity, respect of deadlines, drive, detail-oriented.
- You value the contact with colleagues from different areas of the Bank and the Fund Management Company at different hierarchical levels.
- You have the ability to identify problems and risks and develop effective solutions.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- You enjoy working both independently but as well as in a team and with other departments.
- You are IT-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and have basic knowledge of data analysis. Knowledge of Audimex is an advantage.
- You are fluent in English and German (verbally and in writing), French is considered as asset.
